Little Peeps Fleece is the concept of founder Eliza Tole, born from her childhood memories and experiences of being raised in the heart of the fine wool merino district in the Southern Midlands of Tasmania. Eliza now lives on an idyllic sheep farm with her husband and three children and has always searched for the most natural fibres, to both keep her children warm and cool, yet free to play and remain stylish. This is where Little Peeps Fleece was created, capturing the most exquisite fibres and styles for all our little peeps.
When trying to locate Australian made products that were 100% Merino wool for her precious babies, Eliza was constantly aware of the vast number of international products available in this market. This got her thinking “where are the Australian made products that I am after”, “it would be great to show off affordable Australian Merino wool in children’s wear”, “I wish I could find quality, local garments that allow them to play freely, not requiring numerous layers that felt so restricting”.
Now Eliza’s children are no longer babies and there are some clothing companies that do support the local wool industry, Eliza dreamt of being able to contribute and promote 100% Australian Merino Wool garments manufactured in Tasmania, Australia. After some time, multiple packed lunches, thousands of bedtime stories, and lots of clothes washing 'Little Peeps Fleece' was borne.
